A Fence That Mellows Like Bamboo
Each ONETHATCH bamboo fence panel is molded from real bamboo in weather-resistant ASA and set in our powder-coated aluminum frame, so it resists the rot and splitting that natural bamboo fencing suffers. The panels passed 5,000 hours of ASTM G155 testing at Micom Laboratories, an independent Canadian laboratory, with no significant color change (report MI-25-17428-1), and our synthetic bamboo fence at Banyan Tree Maldives had been in use for six years with no visible color change as of 2026.
Browse our bamboo fencing styles, including Kenninji-Gaki, Misu-Gaki, Tokusa-Gaki and Katsura-Gaki. Inspect your fence at least once a year and after severe weather, keep climbing plants clear of the panels, and re-secure any loose fixings promptly to keep it looking its best.

Bamboo Fencing Warranty Questions
ONETHATCH synthetic bamboo fencing carries a 20-year limited warranty on the bamboo panels and on the powder-coated aluminum frames and posts we supply. It starts when installation is completed, no later than 12 months after the invoice date, and base-color fading of the panels is covered in the first 10 years. Covered defects are remedied free of charge in years 1–10, with a reducing share in years 11–20.
Yes, for the aluminum frames and posts we supply. Throughout the 20 years it covers peeling, flaking or blistering of the factory powder coating and corrosion that weakens the frame or posts, with free replacement in years 1–10 and a reducing share after that. Gradual color change of the powder coating is normal weathering and is not covered.
The warranty covers the fence as a decorative fence or screen. It does not cover use as a safety barrier, pool barrier or retaining wall, as a support for gates, signs or plants, or panels fixed onto chain-link or other existing fences.
Register within 30 days of installation and have the fence installed by a competent contractor following ONETHATCH instructions and local codes, with posts set in footings suited to your soil and wind exposure. Inspect it at least once a year and after severe weather, clear dirt and climbing plants, and re-secure any loose pieces. To claim, email sales@onethatch.com within 30 days of discovering a defect.
