Yes, ONETHATCH is the manufacturer. ONETHATCH® synthetic thatch and bamboo have been designed and made in our own ISO 9001-certified, solar-powered factory since 1996. We supply resorts, distributors and contractors in more than 80 countries, and every project is priced and supported by the people who make it.
ONETHATCH PALM (NIPA) thatch is stocked in the USA, China, Panama, Thailand and India. Synthetic bamboo poles, bamboo panels and woven bamboo matting (Teak and Carbonized, for orders under 500 m²) are also held in stock, and the other thatch styles are made to order.
Only the fire-retardant (FR) versions carry a fire rating. FR PALM and FR REED thatch are rated Class A to ASTM E108 (Intertek report 220927005SHF-001). FR synthetic bamboo and FR woven matting are made to order and rated Class A to ASTM E84, and the FR matting has also passed NFPA 286. Standard versions carry no fire rating, so specify FR wherever your fire code asks for one.
Synthetic thatch, synthetic bamboo poles, panels and fencing, and woven matting carry a 20-year limited warranty. Every one of them also passed 5,000 hours of ASTM G155 accelerated weathering at Micom Laboratories, Canada, with no significant colour change (report MI-25-17428-1).
