Faux Bamboo Fences: Virtually Maintenance-Free

Unlike natural rolled bamboo fencing, our panels need no sealing, staining, varnishing or pest treatments; an occasional rinse with water and mild soap keeps them looking fresh. Once a year, simply check that the screws fixing your synthetic bamboo fence to its posts are still tight. Tighten up or change them as required. If you attached your bamboo fence to posts, examine the pillars every year to ensure they are firmly planted in the ground. Rain, animals, kids, and high winds can loosen up the posts, so load more dirt around the base or gather some cement to remove air pockets.

No additional chemical treatment is required.

Natural bamboo fencing has a waxy external layer that might fade when exposed to the components. Our synthetic bamboo fence panels are a different story: their base color is molded all the way through weather-resistant ASA resin, and they passed 5,000 hours of ASTM G155 accelerated weathering at Micom Laboratories (Canada) with no significant color change.
