Bamboo fencing evokes the feeling of unhurried holidays, coastal hotels and natural wonders. More and more designers are incorporating these products right into their job concepts.
What is a Kenninji-Gaki fence?
Kenninji-Gaki takes its name from Kennin-ji, one of Kyoto’s oldest Zen temples. Close-set vertical slats stand shoulder to shoulder between horizontal half-round rails, forming a calm, unbroken screen. It is the most private of the classic Japanese bamboo fence styles, and one of the most recognisable.
The slat Kenninji fence is basic but keeps an excellent appearance. It is one of the most familiar fence styles in Japanese gardens. Using straight, constant slats makes this fencing one of the most privacy-providing of the bamboo fencing styles. The thick half-rounds that are applied for the horizontal rails include in the robust constitution of the slat fencing.
Why choose a synthetic Kenninji fence?
Nevertheless, authentic bamboo fencing panels meet its obstacles. With time, these all-natural bamboo wall fences will lose their color and also begin to decay. You will certainly be forced to squander cash to change them again and again.
That’s why ONETHATCH exists. We created faux bamboo fencing that faithfully replicates every detail of natural bamboo. Certain details of the synthetic bamboo wall for garden were handpainted by our skilled artisans, as we never compromise on the finest details.
Our artificial bamboo fences are also eco-friendly as they are durable, recyclable, and contain no polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Our artificial slat Kenninji bamboo fence pairs weather-resistant ASA bamboo, molded from real bamboo, with a powder-coated aluminum frame, giving its close-set slats a crisp, warm and authentic finish. Each standard panel stands about 1900 mm high and 1800 mm wide in our Sundried color, and can be customized to your layout. It passed 5,000 hours of ASTM G155 accelerated weathering at Micom Laboratories (Canada) with no significant color change, and it is backed by our 20-year limited warranty. Banyan Tree Maldives chose this same Kenninji-Gaki style. Explore all ten styles in our guide to traditional Japanese garden fences.
