• UV-resistant colour. ONETHATCH synthetic bamboo passed 5,000 hours of ASTM G155 accelerated weathering at Micom Laboratories, an independent Canadian laboratory, with no significant colour change. The ASA grade, developed with Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation (FCFC), has also run more than 15,000 hours of QUV testing in FCFC’s laboratory.
• Pigments and UV protection. Colour comes from inorganic pigments, protected by a UV-stabiliser system developed with BASF’s light-stabiliser laboratory.
• No rot, mould or insects. There is no plant fibre or starch for fungi and termites to feed on.
• Fire-rated option. For bars, lobbies and other areas that call for fire-rated materials, ONETHATCH synthetic bamboo is available in an FR version.
• Maintenance-free. No oiling, sealing or pest treatment; an occasional rinse keeps it clean.
