Metal Strength, Bamboo Character

ONETHATCH aluminum bamboo is a non-combustible aluminum tube that complies with ASTM E84 Class A, finished with a VOC-free, UV-resistant bamboo-textured coating in Sundried or Brown. It won’t rot, split or attract insects, and we bend it in-house to the shape on your drawing, from curved ceilings to woven pavilions.

Choose the standard coating, with round poles in stock, or the premium coating for commercial projects. Explore aluminum bamboo poles and aluminum bamboo weaving. Clean it with fresh water and mild soap, and in coastal and pool areas rinse it regularly to remove salt and chlorine deposits.

Aluminum Bamboo Warranty Questions

How long is the aluminum bamboo warranty?

ONETHATCH aluminum bamboo carries a 6-year limited warranty with the standard coating and a 10-year limited warranty with the premium coating. Replacement is free for the first 3 years (standard) or 5 years (premium), and after that our share reduces each year, to 40% in year 6 or 30% in year 10.

How do I know which coating I have?

Your invoice states the coating. Standard-coated round poles are in stock, while the premium coating is made to order for commercial projects. Keep your invoice: a claim needs proof of purchase showing the coating.

Does the warranty cover fading of aluminum bamboo?

No. The warranty covers coating failure (peeling, flaking or blistering) and corrosion that perforates or weakens the aluminum. Gradual color change, fading and changes in gloss of the coating are normal weathering and are not covered.

How should I care for aluminum bamboo to keep the warranty?

Clean it with fresh water and mild soap as needed, and in coastal and pool areas rinse it regularly to remove salt and chlorine deposits. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners and pressure washing, and don’t cut, drill, bend or recoat it beyond our instructions without our written approval.
