Tropical Texture, Made to Last
ONETHATCH woven matting is woven from 13 mm HDPE strands in a diagonal weave that brings the warmth of handwoven bamboo to resort ceilings, restaurant walls and bar fronts, without the rot and decay that natural mats suffer. It passed 5,000 hours of ASTM G155 testing at Micom Laboratories, an independent Canadian laboratory, with no significant color change (report MI-25-17428-1). For projects that call for it, an ASTM E84 Class A fire-retardant (FR) version, which has also passed NFPA 286, is available to order.
See the woven mat in detail, and follow our bamboo matting installation guide: glue the mat to a backing board first, then staple, and keep it clear of standing water. A light dusting or a wipe with water and mild soap keeps the weave looking fresh.

Woven Matting Warranty Questions
ONETHATCH synthetic woven bamboo matting carries a 20-year limited warranty. It starts when installation is completed, no later than 12 months after the invoice date, and covers rot or decay, delamination of the woven strands and UV degradation for 20 years, and base-color fading in the first 10 years. Covered defects are remedied free of charge in years 1–10, with a reducing share in years 11–20.
Only in covered outdoor areas, and never on floors. The warranty covers matting on walls, ceilings, bar fronts and vertical furniture faces, indoors or in covered outdoor areas; floors, countertops, bar tops, roofs and places where rain reaches it directly are not covered.
Have a competent contractor glue the matting to a suitable backing board first, then fix it with corrosion-resistant staples, never nails, following the ONETHATCH installation instructions. Warping or movement of the backing board or walls, and failure of adhesives or fixings not supplied by us, are not covered. To claim, email sales@onethatch.com within 30 days of discovering a defect, with your proof of purchase, registration confirmation and photos.
