Made to Weather Beautifully
ONETHATCH synthetic bamboo is molded from real bamboo in ASA, a weather-resistant resin, with its base color compounded right through the material. It passed 5,000 hours of ASTM G155 testing at Micom Laboratories, an independent Canadian laboratory, with no significant color change (report MI-25-17428-1), and it resists the rot and insects that trouble natural cane outdoors. Like natural bamboo, its hand-applied grain and node accents mellow gently with the seasons into a softer, weathered look, revealing more of the base color beneath.

It starts when installation is completed, no later than 12 months after the invoice date, and covers rot or decay, delamination and UV degradation for 20 years, and base-color fading in the first 10 years. Covered defects are remedied free of charge in years 1–10, with a reducing share in years 11–20.

No. ONETHATCH synthetic bamboo is decorative, and the warranty covers it as cladding, screening, ceiling, roofing (pelupuh) and finishing material only, never as a load-bearing member. A structural post needs separate metal reinforcement designed and confirmed for your project.
Register within 30 days of installation, have the product installed by a competent contractor following ONETHATCH instructions and local building codes, and inspect it at least once a year and after severe weather, clearing dirt and re-securing any loose pieces. Keep it at its original site and make no changes beyond normal cutting and fitting. To claim, email sales@onethatch.com within 30 days of discovering a defect.
