Designed to recreate the beauty of a natural split bamboo pole, this pre-cut, half round bamboo pole is molded in weather-resistant ASA in our standard colors, Sundried and Sesame. Traditionally used for Japanese bamboo fencing and bamboo wall and ceiling coverings, the ONETHATCH® synthetic split bamboo pole brings authentic bamboo detail to any Zen garden, spa or tropical interior.
Crafted for indoor and outdoor use, it resists cracking, rot, insects and fading in sun, humidity and coastal air, and it passed 5,000 hours of ASTM G155 accelerated weathering with no significant color change. Stock split poles are not fire-rated; an ASTM E84 Class A fire-retardant (FR) version is available to order. It is a decorative trim, not a load-bearing member.

ONETHATCH artificial split bamboo poles (also described as bamboo halves or half round bamboo poles) are the easy way to add bamboo detail where a full round pole would be too bulky. They recreate natural bamboo poles split lengthwise, with the same curved face, nodes and texture, but they arrive pre-shaped and consistent in size and color, with the color molded all the way through and no splitting or treating on site.
Use artificial split bamboo indoors and out: as decorative trim along wall and ceiling seams, as cladding on bar fronts and counter faces, as skirting, or as bamboo decorative wall coverings. Synthetic half round bamboo also dresses cabinet and furniture fronts and conceals ceiling beams with a light, natural touch.
Outside, split bamboo dresses fence frames and garden screens, adding texture and an extra layer of privacy. Unlike natural bamboo poles, which can crack and fade as they age, ONETHATCH split bamboo poles are made to resist cracking, rot and insects, and their color is backed by a 20-year limited warranty.
